The Grand Prix of Art has always been a Community First event, and we wouldn’t be here at our 14th year without the support of some pretty amazing partners! Our sponsor, The Travelling Brush, would like to extend thanks to them all.
This event would be impossible without our 100+ volunteers, some of whom have been working to make the Grand Prix happen since its very first year. From set-up to artist registration and support, exhibition hanging and artwork sales, musicians and judges, our warmhearted volunteers are the core of the Grand Prix — thank you all so much!
Phoenix Art Workshop has been at the heart of the event since the start, and the hard work of Mark and his amazingly dedicated staff has been essential to the growth of the Grand Prix of Art.
We’ve been very fortunate to have a great relationship the support of the City of Richmond since the beginning. Their ongoing support as a Host Partner is fundamental to the long-term growth of the event, integrating the Grand Prix into the City’s cultural calendar and helping to promote the event.
This year we’re so grateful to have the support of the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise, stepping in as a new sponsor for the entire Award Ceremony. The Rotary Club’s mission to take action to improve our communities fits perfectly with the Community First foundation of the Grand Prix of Art, and we thank them for stepping into their key role as our Community Partner.
When you listen to the live music throughout the course of the day, you’re hearing the support of Tourism Richmond! Along with helping to promote the event, their support goes directly to the musicians, and from them to the ears of all the spectators.
