Born in Vancouver BC, she has spent time exploring throughout the local mountains, BC, the Yukon, and the western USA, looking at the subtleties and the variety in the natural landscape. Monica is drawn to the play of light, the formations of clouds and weather systems, details in nature, and both rich and subdued colour. Monica has been making art for over 30 years, is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and exhibits around the Lower Mainland and on Galiano Island.

Born in Dortmund, Germany, Tom moved to Canada at a young age and lived in Northern B.C. for 14 years where his passion for art was fuelled. After graduating from the graphic arts program at Langara College, Tom then attended BCIT in the Architectural and Building Technology Program and graduated with a Architectural Design Major. While pursuing his business career, Tom continued painting and drawing after hours at home. Tom now focuses the majority of his time to art. He works mainly in Acrylics, Gouache, Watercolour and pencil. Tom has won numerous awards for his paintings and drawings as well as juried selections in B.C. arts competitions.
Born in Ontario and now living in North Vancouver B.C., Louise Nicholson is a passionate painter of figures and landscapes in oils and acrylics. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and worked in the medical field. Louise paints whenever she can now, dividing her studio time between wildlife and abstract pursuits. She finds great spots for plein air painting when she is walking her dog, her other favourite activity.

Shannon Thiesen is a visual artist living in Coquitlam, B.C., and also a 5th grade teacher in Abbotsford. Live painting competitions saw Thiesen representing BC in the 2016 and 2017 Art Battle Canada National Championships in Toronto. She is also the 2016 Young Distinguished Alumni award winner from the University of the Fraser Valley, the 2016 Abbotsford Arty Award winner in visual arts, and holds a Masters of Education degree. Thiesen has completed several massive outdoor murals in the lower mainland in recent years. Her favourite subject matter includes West Coast plein air landscapes, portraiture and our more-than-human neighbours.
Surnoor is an emerging visual artist based in Vancouver, BC. His works include studio and plein air works featuring the Canadian Landscape, Metro Vancouver Urbanscapes, figures and portraiture. Lucy Collings is an oil painter with a loose, impressionistic style. Her main subjects are land- and seascapes which often include animals, close up or far away. She enjoys plain air painting as the experience is immediate with no time to get too detailed.

John is an accomplished advertising professional and creative director with a robust interest in multiple facets of visual arts including art direction, photography, graphic design, sculpture, and new media technologies. His diverse artistic skills have not only been recognized at numerous advertising award shows but have also gained popular acclaim. Notably, his creative work for Travel Alberta was featured on Jimmy Kimmel's TV show, highlighting his ability to blend innovative artistry with effective advertising.
James is an artist local to the lower mainland of BC whose specialty has come to be watercolours that are highly detailed and meticulously executed in the studio. He is equally compelled by the challenge and incomparable experience of painting more spontaneously en plein air.
My paintings are a combination of both marine art and western landscapes mostly. I have been a working full time artist for the past six years. I am a Senior member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a Signature member of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists. My medium of choice is primarily acrylics.
I am a resident of Richmond- but was originally from Northwestern Ontario. I have been a professional artist for more years than I care to remember. My work has been carried by several galleries and Art in Motion publishing since 1987, but recently my paintings have been directed towards projects for E&E decor and Publishing in the U.S. An internet search will show many of the companies that sell my work.
