The Steveston Grand Prix of Art 2021 crowns a new Masters Champion
The Steveston Grand Prix of Art 2021 was a wonderful sucess, drenched in creativity and “liquid sunshine”. Seventy-eight brave artists arrived on Saturday September 4th, easels in tow, to battle the elements and race against the clock in this intense, but exciting outdoor painting compitition.
Competing artists were assigned one of thirty-two tented painting locations situated along the “Historic Waterfront Trail” of Steveston, British Columbia and asked to submit their works of art within the four hour time limit. Works were displayed for sale, fresh off the easel and adjudicated, with awards being presented in 3 categories; as well the public were encouraged to cast thier votes for the People’s Choice Award
