Plan your Day

Check out 125 artists painting in thirty-five painting locations, spread across the majestic Steveston waterfront, from London Landing to to Garry point park.  The best way to see this event is by bike,  Richmond’s e Bicycle Valet will be set up at our host location and the hub of celebrations at Britannia Heritage Shipyards National Site.  This breathtaking historic park is host to the exhibition of freshly created artwork, our award ceremony, live music, food trucks, a “made by hand” Artisan Market featuring demonstrations and workshops celebrating creativity.

Schedule:

10:00 am: Artist take to the easels, brush in hand, nerves in check, for this three hour battle against the clock.

Noon:  Made by Hand -Artisan Market opens at the exhibition field at Britannia Heritage Shipyards.  Food Trucks, Demonstrations and live Music

Noon:  Live Performance Tourism Richmond Main Stage

1:00pm:  Artist return from the field to frame their work and submit it for display  before our artists picnic.  Live music at the Picnic Stage.

2:00pm:  Blue Dirt Girl preforms on the Tourism Richmond Main Stage

2:30 pm:  Royal Bank Artist Ceremony at the Artist Picnic

3:00pm:  Penta Building Group Artist Exhibition Opens following the award ceremony.  Come cast your vote for the “People’s Choice Award”

5:00pm:  Artist Market Closes

5:30pm:  Exhibition Closes

Noon:  Live musical performance Siene Net Loft

3:30:  Closing Ceremony, O’Hare’s Pub social media contest winners announced. People’s Choice award.
